Once you receive all the belongings and do the paperwork, we will head toward your hotel. You will check in at the hotel, and we will leave you for much-needed rest and refreshment. Our team will be on the stand when you feel like heading out. We will meet again for a half-day of sightseeing in Kathmandu valley, the abode of historical and world heritage sites. Our sightseeing will start from Budhanilkantha, which is about 9 km away from the center. We will have a livable city drive to the location. Upon reaching Budhanilkantha, an important Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Mahavishnu, we will pay a spiritual visit to the temple area. After a peaceful Buddanilkantha visit, we will travel toward Boudhanath, one of the largest spherical stupas in the world. This place gives you a mystic aura, and the photos are also breathtaking. You will spend some time exploring the UNESCO World Heritage site, Boudhanath. A brunch by the holy and picturesque stupa is worth doing.    And lastly, we will drive towards Pashupatinath, one of the most sacred Hindu temples, in the evening. The visit to the temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is mesmerizing and well-known for evening prayers. At prayers, Hindu priests perform puja arati, a religious practice, and pilgrimages, and visitors experience the prayers on the banks of the Bagmati River. It is an excellent event to experience—Vedic Mantras, incense burning, oil lamps, classical instruments, music, and more. We will take you to the site for this special occasion before we call it a day.

Day 2: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara and do Pokhara sightseeing

The next day, the Luxury Tour in Nepal involves you on a scenic flight to Pokhara, the tourist capital of Nepal. The flight will be only 30 minutes long, but you will enjoy every second. You will get majestic mountains and landscape sights.Following the beautiful airtime, we will land in the city to explore the attractive attractions. The city lies on the banks of Fewa Lake, a big lake that reflects mountains. We will start Pokhara’s exploration from the lake by visiting the lake and boating. We will also visit Tal Barahi Temple, which lies in the middle of the lake. From Tal Barahi Temple, we will reach Devi’s Fall, a mysterious and loud fall. We will hear the legends and the hearable sound of the fall. Next, we will go to Mahendra Cave, a deep cave and home of bats. Coming out of the cave, we will visit Shanti Stupa for a panoramic view of Pokhara, Fewa lake, near hills, and Annapurna Ranges. Lastly, we will have a good time around Gupteshwor Temple and Mountain Museum. In this way, a tourable and exciting day in Pokhara will end.  And we will return to our hotel in Pokhara for the night stay.

Day 3: Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom and visit Muktinath Temple

Next, we must fly to the Himalayas on the following day of the Luxury Tour in Nepal. So we will eat our breakfast brunch and leave for Pokhara Airport. From the airport, we will attend a scenic flight to Jomsom, the gateway to Upper Mustang. It takes only 20 minutes to touch down Jomsom’s captivating landscapes. The landscapes will leave us more spellbound when we step out of our aircraft. With Dhaulagiri, the seventh tallest peak in the world, in the backdrop of the semi-desert landscapes, you will start loving Jomsom very much. We will leave for the hotel in Jomsom from the airport. Then keeping our belongings and having light lunch, we will hit the road again. This time we will be visiting Muktinath Temple(3,800m), a sacred Hindu and Buddhist Temple and one of the highest-placed temples in the world. It is located in the foothills of the mountains and thus has fresh water taps. If you wish, you can do religious baths from 108 water springs. The bath washes away all the sins, as per the local legends. You get good vibes even if you just watch and circle the temple. After this visit, we will return to Jomsom’s hotel via a jeep drive. Annapurna Base Camp, aka ABC(4,130m), is one of Nepal\'s famous trekking and helicopter tour destinations. The landmark provides clear, close, snowy pictures of Annapurna I, II, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Machhapuchhre, and more. Following an eventful landing in ABC, we will get to the helicopter seats. And the chopper will fly us to Mardi Himal, another famous landmark. Mardi Himal Camp offers mouth-opening angles of the Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, and other peaks from a different side. I had an amazing experience with Sabbatical Explore Nepal when I visited Nepal during my Gap year 2018. Our guide and driver were so experienced and helpful. I remember seeing many animals like tigers, deers, rhinos during Jungle Safari in Chitwan. I even went to the Elephant Breeding Centre and that was amazing. In Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha I visited Maya Devi Temple and other monasteries. I was mesmerized by the architectural designs of the Temples and Monasteries built by different countries. I was a little sad that I couldn't visit other amazing places but the 6 days I spent in Nepal were very meaningful and memorable. I am looking forward to my next trip to Nepal.

Katmandu, Bhaktapur Patan, and another locals city I forgot the name ( Themi) are the most interesting cultural cities for sightseeing in Katmandu valley. It's a very very vibrant and tremendous and much rich culture in Nepal. I went to Pokhara and on the way rafting in the river was great fun. 8 days of trekking to Khopra's dada was awesome and amazing with the fabulous horizontal mountain view of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna series. After the trek, I went to Chitwan for 3 days Jungle Safari and back to Kathmandu via a flight.  I am very thankful to my guide and the organizer Sabbatical Explore Nepal for the best trip arrangement even for a short time. As we have discussed at the farewell dinner together I am sure to be back with my other working colleague.
I already miss the beautiful mountains and caring people of Nepal. Specially Shiva my guide Shesh.
Namaste ! and see you asap !!

After Everest Base Camp Trek, I did tour to Pokhara and Chitwan National Park. I am thankful to Shiva and his Sabbatical Explore Team for managing a great guide for my trek. I knew the trek is beautiful but not entirely. All the prayer flags, busy farm fields, like traditional hamlets, and yes giant peaks, these all are running through my mind while writing this. Thanks for this amazing trek. The guide helped me deal with the challenges of the trek without getting anxious. Thanks to him and the team! I suggest this group of experts to everyone reading my experience. You won't regret joining them. I am not!
